Tenpin Bowling

On Wednesday 2nd May 8 members met at L.A. Bowl in Ryde for our normal quiet session of bowling.  We had two good games with one of our ladies getting a score of 154.  (We will keep the name secret for now as this could be our highest score at the end of the year.)  We all wish we could bowl that well, but it doesn’t matter because we all have a lot of fun, a laugh and a lovely cup of something at half time  –  the hot chocolate is delicious!!

Anyone who would like to join us is welcome.  Our next games will be on Wednesday 6th June at 10am.

Ten Pin Bowling Report

We were small in number in April due to Half Term commitments and holidays but, 6 of us had 2 lovely, if noisy games. The LA Bowl was heaving due to coach loads of senior holiday makers and mums and dads with children on half term. The games were good fun for us and gave our poor old bones and muscles lots of exercise. The highest score this month was Maureen Turner who scored 119 on her first game and 122 on her second.
