We met on a sunny afternoon at Ann Pearson’s home, thank you Ann for your hospitality and for the tea/coffee and Tea Bread, it was delicious.
The challenge this month was ‘something macrame’. Ann Parker, Kimberly, and Mary Stocker rose to the challenge, under the watchful, very amateur, eye of Cheryl H, filling in for Cheryl D who had to miss the meeting. The biggest challenge was measuring the length of string required but once that skill was mastered they were away doing box knots and overhand knots and all produced a very usable hanging jar.
Sue M shared her skills showing Claire how to work with parchment, we were all very interested and might all try it in the future. Others continued with the knitting challenges. So always lots going on.
It was a very enjoyable afternoon with lots achieved and lots of chat fun and laughter.
